Public Service Cabinet Secretary Geoffrey Ruku has once again underscored the Government’s dedication to uplifting young people in Kenya, announcing a bold new initiative designed to nurture and harness talents at the grassroots level.
Speaking during a community engagement forum, Ruku emphasized that the program is not just about creating opportunities but also about transforming lives by providing platforms where the youth can showcase their skills, receive mentorship, and access resources that will help them achieve sustainable livelihoods.
The CS highlighted that the Government recognizes the immense potential that lies within the youth population, which makes up the majority of Kenya’s demographic. By channeling their energy and creativity into structured programs, the state aims to address unemployment, curb social vices, and create a pipeline of talent that can contribute to national development.
“Our young people are the heartbeat of this nation. By nurturing their talents, we are not only securing their future but also strengthening Kenya’s social and economic fabric. This initiative is designed to reach even the most remote areas, ensuring that no young person is left behind,” Ruku said.
