Jux Addresses Sh24.6M Loan Rumours for Multiple Weddings

Tanzanian R&B star Juma Jux has come out to address swirling rumours claiming he took out a loan worth TSh 450 million (approximately KSh 24.6 million) to finance multiple wedding ceremonies.

The speculation began circulating online shortly after Jux posted several cryptic images and videos showing lavish setups, wedding-themed decor, and traditional attire. Many fans were quick to assume that the singer had tied the knot in a series of secretive ceremonies — and that he had allegedly taken a hefty bank loan to fund them.

Speaking during a recent interview, Jux denied the claims, clarifying that the images were part of a conceptual shoot and upcoming music content, not real weddings. “People should not believe everything they see online. I didn’t get married — not once, not multiple times. And I certainly didn’t take any loan,” Jux stated.

He went on to explain that the rumours were fueled by a lack of context and intentional hype for his latest music project. “It’s all creativity. We wanted to give people something fresh visually. I’ve always pushed boundaries with my videos and this is no different,” he said.

Jux, known for his smooth vocals and polished visuals, has in the past been linked to several high-profile relationships, most notably with Vanessa Mdee. His love life often attracts public attention, something he admits has both benefits and drawbacks. “I understand the curiosity, but sometimes people run too far with assumptions,” he added.

The “Sugua” hitmaker confirmed that his focus is currently on his music and upcoming tours, and that any major personal announcements would be shared officially, not teased through speculation.

Fans now await the full release of the video project behind the rumours — with many praising Jux for once again blending romance and artistry in a uniquely dramatic way.
