President William Ruto today welcomed participants of the Nairobi County Empowerment Programme to State House, Nairobi. The initiative aims to boost youth and community-led enterprises through skills development, business support, and access to resources.
Speaking during the event, the President reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to empowering Nairobi residents—especially young people—by providing opportunities for entrepreneurship, job creation, and sustainable livelihoods.
The Nairobi County Empowerment Programme works closely with local leaders, business mentors, and government agencies to equip participants with training, funding avenues, and mentorship, ensuring they can contribute to the city’s economic growth.
