Kenyan music maestro Vic West’s latest production dubbed ‘Men Can Lie’, which he performs with Teslah, Brandy Maina and Sylvia Ssaru is a story of the emotional communication between a woman and a man’s heart.
This is mainly because in most cases when a man meets a woman he likes, he will promise to do a lot of things for her in a bid to win her heart; including what he can deliver and what he can’t.
What he fails to deliver always turns out to be the lies he told her but because women know that ‘Men Can Lie’, many of them never let it out; however, only Teslah, Brandy Maina, and Ssaru are brave enough to come out, and declare that indeed, men can lie!
This is the reason why ‘Men Can Lie’ is currently one of the jams trending in Kenya, booming in nightclubs and bars, on top of doing rounds on various TV stations in the country.
The popularity that song has garnered since its release has seen the video shoot to over 146K YouTube views just within three days of its debut, indicating that ‘Men Can Lie’ is already a masterpiece on the East African music landscape.
