These actions followed a site inspection conducted on July 18, and were prompted by reports alleging the involvement of a hospital staff member in the death of Toto Touch CEO Susan Kamengere Njoki

The Council demanded Chiromo submit Njoki’s medical records, the post-mortem report, and a detailed explanation of measures taken to prevent future incidents
Susan Njoki, founder and CEO of Toto Touch Kenya, died on July 15, 2025, one day after being forcibly taken from her Kileleshwa home, injected with unidentified medication, and admitted to Chiromo HospitalDetectives from Kabete Police Station have launched an intensive investigation. They issued a manhunt for a missing female hospital staff member, believed to be a key suspect connected to Njoki’s death. Investigators are also reviewing CCTV footage from the hospital
